“Discipleship Groups” (otherwise known as small groups) are a key component of our Discipleship Ministries (along with our Sunday morning “Discipleship Hour”). These groups often meet mid-week in people’s homes and often include food, fellowship, and Bible study.

DISCIPLESHIP GROUPS
Group: "Faith Builders"
Leaders: Pastor Dennis and Melinda Strawn
Meeting time: Sundays, 6-8pm (2x/month)
Location: Gerkin house
Description: This group will be using free resources from RightNow Media, bibleproject.com, etc. We will view videos, read Scripture and follow discussion questions pertaining to each topic.

Group: "The Holy Spirit: His Name and Power"
Leaders: Janice Kempe
Meeting time: Mondays at noon
Location: First Baptist Church
Description: In this six-session series, Dr. Tony Evans leads us on an in-depth exploration of the Spirit's characteristics, duties, and mission among humankind. Take a closer look at some of the titles of the Spirit and appreciate how he influences and inspires our faith in Christ: The Helper, The Lord, The Wine, The Intercessor, The Seal, The Power.

Meeting time: Fridays, 6:30-8:30pm (monthly)
Location: Agapito house
Description: A group for "millennials" to have fellowship with one another, support one another, and grow spiritually together. The focus moving forward will be on food and fellowship.

Description: This young adult small group seeks to know God better through his Word to worship and obey him better. As we read God's word, go through a devotional, or study doctrinal truths about Christianity, we seek to encourage and get to know one another as brothers and sisters in Christ.
