DISCIPLESHIP HOUR - 9 AM
Our church offers multiple Discipleship Hour options for both children and adults. Discipleship Hour is seen as a vital part of our church community, Christian fellowship, and biblical education (alongside our small group ministries). The Discipleship hour meets between service times (9-10am) and classes are located in the educational wing of the building.
YOUTH AND CHILDREN
We select curricula specifically aimed at teaching the next generation the story of redemption in Scripture as it leads and points to Jesus Christ. Our vision is that our youth ultimately may come to know Him personally as their Lord and Savior.
Nursery: Newborn - Age 3, Room 1 (downstairs)
Kingdom Kids Preschool: Ages 3 - Kindergarten, Room 26 (upstairs)
Ignite 1st and 2nd Grades: Room 24 (upstairs)
Ignite 3rd-5th Grades: Room 27-28 (upstairs)
ABY Middle School: Room 18 (upstairs)
ABY High School: Room 21-22 (upstairs)
ADULT CLASSES
Building Relationships: Room 3 (downstairs)
A group that strives toward building a closer relationship with God and each other by seeking a deeper understanding of God’s Word. Topics vary. The usual attendees tend to be age 40 and up, but ALL are welcome!
Gateway Builders: Room 4 (downstairs)
Lessons are from the Formations Adult Bible Study. A look at how our own spiritual journeys parallel the stories in the Bible: the ups and downs that have led us to where we are in Christ today. All are welcome!
Encounter: Room 6 (downstairs)
Encounter is the college and career group. Attendees are constantly reminded about the Spiritual Disciplines--reading and studying the scriptures, prayer, worship, witness, giving, and serving. This is a transitional season of life, so we want to provide a steady ongoing class which inspires and encourages faith growth at this crucial young adult age!
Growing Together: Room 9 (downstairs)
Growing Together is for adults from post-college through middle age. Both married couples and singles fit in well. While most class members are currently raising their family, it is not a class focused solely on parenting. The use of a devotional format allows those who cannot attend weekly to feel welcome to join us those weeks they can make it. We focus on practical application of the Bible and the importance of fellowship with our church family.
Library Class: Room 14 (downstairs)
This class is composed of singles and couples aged forty and up. We seek to support each other in prayer and the study of God’s Word, with the intent of not only understanding His Will but applying it in our daily lives. The Scriptures are always our guide, but sometimes a book or video is used to stimulate discussion.
Young at Heart: Room 19 (upstairs)
This senior adult Sunday school class is designed for a look at various books in the Old and New Testament of the Bible. It is a relaxed class atmosphere: no question is a "dumb" question! We encourage and invite discussion among participants. We look forward to seeing you.
FBC 101: Room 5 (downstairs)
An introductory class for those wanting to learn more about FBC and how to get involved, offered the last Sunday of every month. All are welcome!
